ILLUMINATION With technologically-superior illumination – powered by 100-plus LED light fixtures – we offer fascinatinglight schemes to mirror each skating song’s intention and individual skater moods. Neon’s, mirror balls, strobes, and multicolored and white spotlights combine to further enhance your overall fun time skating experience. We also have black lights that enable our skaters' clothing and laces to glow in the dark.
SNACKS & DRINKS For skaters who get hungry or wish to quench their thirst, we sport apolished granite snack bar, aptly stocked with all your favorite snack time goodies – delicious slices of pizza, crunchy, cheese-covered nachos - piping hot dogs, and an abundance of chilled beverages, to include all your favorite Coca Cola fountain drink products, bottled water, icee's and low-calorie fruit and sport drinks.
VIDEO GAMES & REDEMPTION If you enjoy playing games - video games, basketball, games of chance, and like to win tickets redeemable for prizes, this is the place to be! Our well-stocked redemption center is an all-time favorite for skaters of all ages.
RENTAL SKATES OR PURCHASE? If you do not have your own skates, we offer rental skates for a nominal fee. If you wish to purchase your own skates, we stock a wide variety of skates. Skates are available in most shoe sizes. Our expert skating crew stands ready to accommodate your every skating need. We also offer a wide-variety of skating accessories, such as bearings, toe stops and plugs. We also stock the most popular skate wheels available on the market. All skate adjustments are conducted on site by our experienced skate center crew, to include complete assembly of newly purchased skates.
THE SKATE FLOOR The skate floor is asphalt base covered with sand. A sub-floor of hand laid 1 x 6 cedar planks rests on top of the sand. One-inch thick hand laid planks rest on top of the cedar planks. An expertly-applied covering of "Tite Coat" Polyurethane coats the cedar planks for a smooth, richly-rewarding skating experience.
WHAT ABOUT EXERCISE? Approximately 10.3 complete laps at the extreme perimeter of the skate floor equals one mile. Skate a bit closer to the traffic circle, and you will need one or two additional laps to complete one mile.
